Questions people ask
What typing speed do data entry jobs require?
Adverts commonly ask for 35 to 45 WPM for general data entry and 45 to 60 WPM for clerical and government roles, almost always with an accuracy requirement. Check your own notification for the exact rule.
What does no-Backspace mode do?
It disables corrections, the way many official tests do. Mistakes stay in and are counted, which is why practising in the same mode matters.
What is KDPH?
Key depressions per hour: every key you press counted over an hour. Data entry roles often use it instead of words per minute, because codes and figures are not words.
Is this the official government typing test?
No. This is practice built to the same shape as common exams. It is not affiliated with any recruiting body, and the rules that count are in your official notification.
